What This Site Is
willconia.com (and its subdomains) is operated by an individual as a sole proprietorship under the operator's own name (registered with the IRS via EIN; not incorporated as an LLC or corporation), publishing tech notes and browser-based tools, some of which are paid. We do not sell your personal data.
Data We Collect
This site does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. The data stored is:
- Theme preference — saved in your browser's
localStorage(light/dark mode), never sent to the server. - Standard server logs — IP address, user agent, and request path, kept by the hosting provider for security and troubleshooting purposes only.
- Payment information — see "Payments" below.
Payments
Some tools (currently golf.willconia.com/trim and golfswing.willconia.com) offer paid tiers processed by Stripe. Card numbers and other payment details are entered directly into Stripe's own secure checkout and are never seen by or stored on our servers. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded (and minimal metadata such as order/customer ID) so the paid feature can be unlocked. The TV Remote Android App
The TV Remote app is covered by its own privacy policy. It collects nothing, and purchases are handled by Google Play rather than by this site.
Subdomains
Tools hosted under subdomains (e.g. golf.willconia.com, golfswing.willconia.com, cube.willconia.com, anim.willconia.com) may process uploaded files (video, images) solely to perform the requested function (e.g. trimming a video, analyzing a swing). Uploaded files are not sold or shared with third parties. Some tools let you optionally supply your own third-party API key (e.g. an LLM provider key); that key is used only to call the provider you selected and is not stored on our servers beyond the session needed to complete the request.
